BIOINSECT®
BIOLOGICAL INSECTICIDE OF DOMESTIC USE
|
Bioinsect is a new biological formula based on SPECIFIC PROTEINS produced by strains of Bacillus thuringiensis and obtained by biotechnology.
During Bacillus thuringiensis esporulation phase, a PARASPORAL BODY named DELTA ENDOTOXIN is formed. This is a crystallized protein with insecticide property which is specific for each genus of insects.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
The entomopathogenic crystallized proteins need to pass for a series of processes which occur in a specific type of insect. These proteins when ingested by larvae are bounded to larva intestinal cellular receptors promoting the formation of pores and hystolisis, consequent intestinal paralysis, food intake cease, vomiting, diarrhoea, total paralysis and death of the larva.
This protein is biodegradable so it produces no soil or water contamination.
The addition of adherent and dispersant substances to the diluent fraction gives the product a higher penetration, dispersion and residual power over the aspersed surfaces.

HAZARD IDENTIFICATION:
- Non corrosive
- Effects over health
- Eyes and skin: prolonged contact with the product may cause moderate to severe irritation
- Inhalation: inhalation of pulverized mixture may cause irritation of the respiratory tract

FIRST AID MEASURES:
Biological fraction and the reconstituted mixture in water don't represent hazard but the direct contact with eyes and mucosa may cause mild irritation.
In case of contact with the diluent fraction:
- Eyes: wash immediately with water for 15 minutes
- Skin: if there is irritation, wash with water
- Ingestion: induce to vomiting

USES:
It can be used by aspersion or spray over surfaces, structures, equipments, floors, and in the presence of animals, to control animal ectoparasites and to eliminate flying or dragging insects.

APPLICATION AND DOSIS:
- Dilute 5 ml of the diluent fraction in 1 liter of water
- Add the biological fraction in the same proportion
- One liter of the mixture can sprinkle 10 m2
- Apply through manual spray or with spraying machine

WARNING:
- Leave out of reach of children
- Avoid contact of the non diluted fractions with skin or mucosa
- If contact occurs, wash with plenty of water
- If it is used immediately, keep in a dried and fresh area, protected from sun rays
- In the case of prolonged storage, keep in refrigeration (4 - 7 C)
- Reconstituted mixture must be used within 24 hours. Eliminate residues
