BIOSANIT®
ECOLOGICAL DISINFECTANT

GENERALITIES:
BIOSANIT is a natural organic disinfectant formula composed by the synergistic combination of active principles extracted from vegetables as eucalyptus leaves, grapefruit seeds, apple vinegar and organic acids produced by beneficial micro-organisms.
Disinfectants constitute an indispensable recourse in the preservation of environment, materials and equipments and persons who work in it as well as people who use the services they offer.
BIOSANIT is a biodegradable germicide designed to be used for disinfection of areas and substructures, furniture, equipments and diverse materials.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
BIOSANIT acts in the cellular membrane, over enzymes and nucleic acids of micro-organisms. Reacts with carboxyl, sulphydril and amine groups, facilitating the penetration of the other components with microbicide activity that alter the cellular architecture of the micro-organism.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
BIOSANIT is a yellow liquid with mild eucalypt odour, lightly bitter and astringent, pH acid, soluble in water. It tolerates changes in temperature without alteration of its structure, non inflammable, with no emission of steams, inalterable with sunlight, stable at room temperature, no requiring special recipients or storage.

CORROSIVENESS:
Non corrosive over bronze, aluminium, steel, copper, glass (Pyrex type), plastic (PVC and Tygon), rubber, silicon, polyethylene, polypropylene, latex, chromium-plated metals and cement of optic equipments.

TOXICITY:
In toxicity tests, innocuousness of the product in laboratory animals (mice, rats and rabbits) is demonstrated through oral, dermic (scarified skin) and inhalatory (nasopharyngeal and respiratory) trials.

PROPERTIES:
- 100% natural disinfectant, biodegradable and non corrosive
- It doesn't leave toxic residues and it doesn't accumulate in animal organism or environment
- No teratogenic or mutagenic effect
- No discomposure under normal storage conditions

USES AND FORM OF APPLICATION:
- Apply by aspersion, spray, immersion and / or thermo fogginess
- Before application, wash the surface to be disinfected
- General disinfection: use 3-5 ml of BIOSANIT / liter of water
- To be used in health institutes, food - processed industries, houses, etc.
